Discover Leh - Ladakh

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

You will be greeted on arrival at Delhi International airport by ITS representative, you will be transferred to your prebooked hotel in Delhi, a brief on your tour by our representative & exchanging of tour documents, relax & overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel & start your sight seeing tour of Delhi at 1000 hrs, visit old Delhi covering the magnificent Red Fort, Jama Mosque, Chandni Chowk & Raj Ghat – the memoir of Mahatma Gandhi – Father of Nation. Enjoy rickshaw ride in Old Delhi an amusing experience. Afternoon take a sight seeing tour to cover New Delhi visiting The President House, India Gate, Humayuns Tomb & Qutub Minar. Evening visit the Lotus Shaped Bahai Temple & the famous Temple of Laxmi Narayan. Evening is kept free to explore the markets of Delhi if you wish too, otherwise relax at the hotel & overnight in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Leh (By air at 0555 hrs / arr at 0750 hrs)

Early morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Leh Ladakh, assistance on arrival at Leh Airport, transfer to your hotel, as Leh is the located in the highest altitude of India, it is advisable to rest today & get acclimatized. Evening walk into the Tibetan markets just for an overlook of Leh City. Overnight in Leh.

Day 04: Leh - Alchi – Liker – Leh

After breakfast take an excursion tour to Alchi & Liker visit Alchi, Liker & Resong Monastery – these monasteries are very popular & known for its paintings. Later drive back to Leh, evening free for shopping & individual activities, overnight in Leh.

Day 05: Leh – Durbuk – Pangong

After breakfast checkout & get ready for another thrilling drive to Pangong Lake. Drive through Kharu, Chemrey, Tagar Sakti to Changla pass at an altitude of 5486 Meters, while climbing the Changla pass 5486 meters enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for lunch breakfast at Tsoltak the summer pastureland of the yaks. Later proceed to Pangong enroute visiting Durbuk to see the small monastery. Proceed to Pangong, on arrival transfer to the Camps, after freshen visit the Pangong Lake which is frozen in the winters, enjoy the sunset over the lake. Relax & overnight in the Camps in Pangong.

Pangong – Leh

Early morning drive to Lukung at the western shore of the lake and drive along the Pangong Lake upto Spangmik (8 Kms) which is the last point allowed for the tourists. Enjoy the sunrise in the back drop of the Lake, after breakfast checkout & drive to Leh, enroute halt at Tsoltak for Lunch, proceed to Leh, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight in Leh.

Leh – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis – Leh

After breakfast take an excursion tour to visit Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis Monastery, these are the most famous, colorful and wealthiest Monastery of Leh Ladakh. Overnight at the Hotel.

Leh – Khardungla – Nubra

After breakfast checkout & drive to Nubra Valley, enroute visit Disket and Hundar monastery where you will be having your packed Lunch. Later proceed to Nubra  accessible only from the Khardungla pass which is at an altitude of 5600 Mtrs and one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The Nubra valley has opened for Foreign Tourists in 1994 by the Government of India to expand tourist opportunities in Leh Ladakh region. The Nubra valley is on the trade route from Leh to Khangar via Samsar and Karakoram passes. Apart from unparallel trekking opportunities the Nubra valley has several Buddhist Gompas, Diskit Gompa which is 350 years old and is situated on the highest point near the village in which there are about 120 Resident Buddhist Monks residing. The Nubra valley is also known for its double humped bacterian camels. On arrival in Nubra Valley check in at Lharimo North Camps these are Tented Accommodation but very clean & neat. Rest of the day free to capture every scenic moment on  your camera. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 06: Nubra.

After breakfast take small soft treks around the valley & meet the people staying in the Village of Nubra, you can see there lifestyle, also you will camels with double hump. Evening enjoy the sunset over the valley, overnight in the camps in Nubra.

Day 07: Nubra – Leh

After breakfast at the Camps, checkout with packed lunch & drive to Leh, you will be stopping at a beautiful place for lunch break. Later drive to Leh enjoying the most beautiful scenes. Transfer to hotel on arrival. After freshen up evening is kept free for your personal activities, overnight in Leh.

Day 08: Leh – Delhi (By air at 0730 hrs / arr at 1000 hrs) – To Onward Destination

Early morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi at 0730 hrs, assistance on arrival in Delhi at 1000 hrs, transfer to hotel. Full day free for individual activities visiting the markets & restaurants. Later in the night transfer to International airport to board the flight to onward destination.
